OSCE Project Co-ordinator along with Committee on European Integration hold methodological seminar for parliamentary committees' secretaries

A methodological seminar on consolidation of human rights, supremacy of law and European standards within implementation of lawmaking functions of parliamentary committees took place for employees of secretariats of the Committee on Legislative Support to Enforcement, Committee on European Integration, Committee on Legal Policy and Justice as well as for employees of respective departments of the Main Scientific Expert and Main Legal Department of the Secretariat of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

The organizers of the said event were the OSCE Co-ordinator in Ukraine along with the Committee on European Integration.

During the seminar, the speakers and its participants discussed the topics of the event: constitutional proceedings reform, legal regulation of law procedure within the constitutional reform, concept of international protection of human rights, notion of 'crime and offense' in compliance with the legislations of post-socialist European countries, etc.
