Commenting on results of the week, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada noted that the Parliament considered four major blocks of issues, in particular, self-governance, IT-technologies and Informatization, agricultural and energy sectors.
He noted that the Ukrainian Parliament adopted the law on electric energy market in first reading. Besides, according to Andriy Parubiy, the legislature amended the law on the gas market in order to intensify the process of decentralization and expand market's transparency.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine also adopted the law on the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Utilities on the whole. Parubiy said that Ukraine's foreign partners had expected Ukraine to adopt that extremely important law.
The Chairman of the Ukrainian legislature said that the parliamentarians provided their positive decisions on 80 bills. He stressed that the work of the Verkhovna Rada was particularly well-organized and effective.
"The tradition of block issue-related consideration of legislative documents must be prolonged," Andriy Parubiy said.
