He said the issue is very important for each and every citizen.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada noted that Ukraine has fulfilled all requirements to receive that visa-free regime. "Thus, it is very important for us to see the European Union making its step and the European Parliament taking respective decision," Andriy Parubiy said.
At that the politician explained that lately the European Union has expressed concerns over the introduction of the visa-free regime in view of the migration crisis the European countries are currently facing. "Thus, a number of EU states insist on a decision that will allow them to rapidly terminate visa-free regime with any state if necessary," he said. According to Parubiy, the European Parliament will provide Ukraine and other countries with visa-free regime only after taking the said decision. "Certain protraction with the visa-free regime introduction is a result of absence of the decision on visa-free regime termination," the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada said.
According to Andriy Parubiy, there are no doubts that the decision to provide Ukraine with visa-free regime will receive the majority of votes in the European Parliament.
