The participants in the offsite meeting of the Committee in Chernihiv region discussed state mechanisms of raising competitiveness in production, in particular, preferential taxation of farm producers and aspects of their direct taxpayer support.
The participants in the meeting were members of the Ukrainian Parliament, Minister of Agricultural Policy and Food Taras Kutovyi, Head of the Chernihiv regional state administration, Valerii Kulych, President of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences Yaroslav Hadzalo, officials from the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, scientists, representatives of non-government organizations, economic entities and farms.
The meeting was headed by member of the Ukrainian Parliament / member of the parliamentary committee, Mykola Kucher.
The Committee members heard claims and remarks of the attendees as to the lifting of the moratorium on sale of farmlands and informed that public discourse of this issue will soon take place in different regions of Ukraine.
