The participants in the meeting will be members of the Ukrainian Parliament / members of the Ukrainian side of the PAC headed by co-chair Mykola Kniazhytskyi, members of the European Parliament headed by Chair of the Delegation to the EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Association Committee Andrej Plenkovic, representatives of the Ukrainian Government and executive institutions of the EU.
The agenda envisions discussion of political relations between Ukraine and the EU, prospects of ratification of the Ukraine - European Union Association Agreement (the Dutch factor), estimation of the Ukraine - European Union Association Agreement implementation, prospects of introduction of visa-free regime for Ukraine, internal political and security situation in Ukraine, implementation of reforms in Ukraine in compliance with the Agreement, energy and sectoral cooperation between Ukraine and the EU.
As a result of the meeting its participants will approve Final Statement and Recommendations of the PAC.
Besides, the meeting program envisions offsite meeting in the east of Ukraine in particular, in a number of population centers in the antiterrorist operation zone.
Reference information: The PAC was established in compliance with Article 467 of the Ukraine - European Union Association Agreement. A representative of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and one of the European Parliament substitute each other in heading the PAC.
The PAC can request information about implementation of the Agreement from the Association Council, should be informed about decisions and recommendations of the Association Council, can provide its recommendations to the Association Council and establish respective subcommittees.
