According to Kondratiuk, one of the most important tasks of the Forum is to discuss the issue of real coordination of parliamentary, governmental and non-government institutions as to the implementation of the National Action Plan.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Sweden, Martin Hagstrom, thanked for the honor to take part in the Forum and drew attention of the attendees to the fact that the Government of Sweden is one of the first feminist governments in the world. He also said that the Embassy should act in a way of gender equality and assured all the Forum participants of Sweden's assistance in and support for the implementation of the National Action Plan.
The participants in the Forum also noted that the Action Plan is interrelated with other program documents namely the State Program on Equal Rights and Opportunities of Women and Men, National Strategy and Human Rights Action Plan, etc.
At the end of the discussion, the parties will provide a number of recommendations: elaboration of mechanisms of effective coordination in the implementation of the Action Plan 1325 by the concerned parties; effective parliamentary control over and improvement of legislative mechanisms of implementation of the Action Plan; as well as mechanisms of providing effective feedback for participation of the civil society in the implementation of the Action Plan.
