Members of the Parliamentary Committees on Foreign Affairs, European Integration, and Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship, as well as Chairs of Ukraine's Permanent Delegations to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) and the Parliamentary Assembly of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) have met with Foreign Affairs Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin.

The participants in the meeting discussed a wide range of questions of involvement of the world community in the most effective protection of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine with the internationally recognized borders; assessment of current events in the regions of the world, which are currently important for our country; etc. Besides, they discussed the problems related to intensification of parliamentary diplomacy within interparliamentary assemblies of the key international organizations, as well as the prospects of completion of the diplomatic service reform in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian parliamentarians and the foreign affairs minister of Ukraine called the finalization of the new bill "On diplomatic service of Ukraine" as one of the most important priorities.

The parties also discussed the ways to mobilize the world community in order to avoid participation of international observers in election to the State Duma (the Parliament) of the Russian Federation in Crimea.
