On July 7-8, the Parliamentary Local Self-Government Office along with the Ukrainian District and Regional Councils Association held a workshop with the participation of administrators of secretariats of the regional councils and the Kyiv city council at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
At the end of the workshop First Deputy Head of the Secretariat of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Slyshynskyi handed over certificates to the participants in the workshop.
The roundtable entitled "Modernization of service institute within local self-government bodies: challenges and prospects" was held within the framework of the workshop. The roundtable participants discussed elaboration and adoption of regulatory-legal acts facilitating modernization of the state administration and local self-government reforms.
The participants in the workshop received practical skills and knowledge during familiarization with the work of the Ukrainian District and Regional Councils Association and the Administrative Services Center in Kyiv.
