Other participants in the briefing were representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, who arrived at the Ukrainian Parliament to take part in "an hour of questions to the Ukrainian Government."

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said the most of the Government members today were ready to answer the questions of the Ukrainian parliamentarians, however, several tens of deputies, who though these important issues were not worth a discussion, did not let the representatives of the Ukrainian Government deliver their speeches and blocked the work of the Verkhovna Rada.

Mr. Groysman noted that the Government is open and public and expressed an opinion that some political forces were merely afraid of giving word to the members of the Ukrainian Government, of receiving quite open answers. He emphasized that the gas price recently set by the Ukrainian Government at the market level aims to fight corruption in Ukraine. With the reference to the data provided by the National Anticorruption Bureau, he reminded that the state gas had been acquired three to four times cheaper by the persons, some of whom were involved in blocking the parliamentary rostrum on Friday.
