Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Policy recommends Ukrainian Parliament adopt draft law "On amendments to Law of Ukraine "On government procurements" (as to limitation of participation in such procurements for participants having offshore status) as a basis

The draft law No. 4674 offers to ban participants having offshore status or registered in offshore zones from taking part in public procurements.

The meeting participants noted that the document aims to raise transparency of the public procurements and efficiency of use of the budget funds, to fight dodging taxes by Ukrainian residents, and companies registered within offshore jurisdictions.
