Members of Verkhovna Rada Committee on Public Health consider allocation of additional state budget funds for medical treatment of Ukrainian citizens abroad in 2016

The meeting participants noted that according to the information obtained by the Health Ministry of Ukraine, the Law "On State Budget of Ukraine for 2016" envisions allocation of UAH 203.9 million for medical treatment of Ukrainians abroad, which satisfies the total need in the funds only for 57.5%.

Taking in consideration the fact that every day costs life of the people needing medical treatment abroad, the Committee has decided to address Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman requesting to immediately allocate additional UAH 183.8 million from the state budget under the budget program entitled "Medical treatment of citizens of Ukraine abroad."
