The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has hosted regular workshop on drafting legislation for officials of local self-government bodies, which is held by the Parliamentary Office for Local Self-Government in cooperation with the Association of Ukrainian Cities in the framework of the PULSE project supported by USAID.
Deputy city heads, secretaries of local councils, heads and specialists of structural units of executive committees of local councils in charge of organizational matters and personnel, and representatives of unified territorial communities participated in the workshop.
The event was opened by Deputy Head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat Oleksandr Martynenko and Executive Director of the Association of Ukrainian Cities Myroslav Pittsyk.
On May 20 the participants will familiarize themselves with the work of structural units of the Kyiv City Council and the Kyiv City State Administration.
