At a meeting of the Committee on May 11, 2016, people’s deputies - members of the Committee examined draft laws on amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine concerning the exemption of pensions from taxation (Reg. No.4542); on amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine concerning the abolishment of taxation of pensions (Reg. No.4542-1); on amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine concerning the abolishment of taxation of a combined amount of pensions (including the amount of their adjustment accrued pursuant to the law) (Reg. No.4542-2); on amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine concerning the abolishment of taxation of pensions and compensations to pensioners of already paid tax (Reg. No.4542-3).
The draft laws propose to amend the Tax Code of Ukraine, and provide for the abolishment of taxation of a combined amount of pensions (including the amount of their adjustment accrued pursuant to the law) or a monthly lifetime allowance.
Following the consideration the Committee recommends that the Parliament approve the draft law No.4542 as a basis.
