After the meeting of the Conciliatory Council of the heads of the parliamentary factions and committees, Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andrii Parubii gave a briefing.
"Today we are putting about 15 draft laws required for further cooperation with the International Monetary Fund and for improvement of social standards of the Ukrainians on the agenda," he said.
"I'd like to note that we will do our best to put the draft law on amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine touching exemption of pensions from taxation on the agenda as soon as possible," Parubii said. The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada also mentioned the necessity for consideration of the draft laws on simplification of foreign medicines registration.
Parubii told journalists that he had signed the instruction to withdraw wages from people's deputies for their absence at plenary meetings.
Parubii noted that he had addressed heads of committees and factions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine requesting them to assist in improvement of the level of people's deputies attendance at the session hall.
