I.Heraschenko, being in the composition of the Ukrainian delegation in the European Parliament in Brussels, has reported on the start of the third meeting of the Parliamentary Association Committee. Co-chairing the meeting together with EP member Andrej Plenkovic, Heraschenko in her speech disclosed the plans of the Verkhovna Rada on the fulfillment of the Association Agreement.

In particular, she expressed the position on the consequences of the referendum in the Netherlands. Ukraine, she said, "insists on three "NOs:" "NO" to launching new negotiations on the content of the Agreement; "NO" to making any amendments to the text of the Agreement, and "NO" to further protracting in its entry into force." "The outcome of the referendum has became a challenge for the EU first of all, and we hope that the Netherlands and the EU will find a rapid response to this challenge," she said, and thanked the European Parliament "for support to Ukrainian reforms and protection of the sovereignty and independence, for the publicly expressed position that the sanctions against Russia will preserve till complete implementation of the Agreement."

At the same time, Heraschenko said, "we call on the European Parliament and the EU countries to support the "Savchenko list," in order to bring to justice all those involved in the torturing of Nadiya, her kidnapping and imprisonment." Deputy Chairperson of the Parliament also addressed the colleagues with a request to "pay more attention to violations of human rights in Crimea, in particular in the context of abusing Crimean Tatars and prohibiting the Mejlis."

In the context of visa-free regime I.Heraschenko expressed hope for the appointment by the European Parliament members of a rapporteur on this issue and that the debate in the European Parliament will have a positive outcome for Ukraine.

The Ukrainian politician said that during the next stage of the debate they will discuss non-fulfillment of the Minsk agreements by the Russian Federation and Russia-baked militants. "A key attention, of course, will be paid to the security and humanitarian aspects," she said and added that the Parliamentary Association Committee is a good personnel reserve of real specialists and supporters of European integration, particularly the Parliamentary Association Committee delegated Ostap Semerak, Ivanna Klympush-Tsyntsadze, Taras Kutovyi to the new government, and I am convinced they will do as best they can for the implementation of the Association Agreement."
