Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine holds evening plenary meeting

The people's deputies of Ukraine considered a number of draft laws in second reading.

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the draft law "On amendments to some Laws of Ukraine" (as to decrease of deficit of scrap ferrous metals in domestic market in order to meet needs of defense sector and restore infrastructure)

The draft law raises the export tax for scrap metal from EUR 10 to EUR 30 per ton for the period of three years to solve the problem of critical deficit of the raw materials at the Ukrainian iron and steel works.

Respective draft law was registered under No. 3868.

Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andrii Parubii closed the evening plenary meeting.
