Andrii Parubii addresses Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe requesting to assist in returning Nadiya Savchenko to Ukraine

We address the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe to do everything it can to speed up the return of Ukrainian officer and Verkhovna Rada deputy of the Batkivschyna All-Ukrainian Association faction Nadiya Savchenko home.

Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andrii Parubii said this opening the meeting of the Conciliatory Council of heads of parliamentary factions and committees.

"Today the state of health of Nadiya Savchenko is very poor and we all understand that all the responsibility is now on Russian President Vladimir Putin. However, I am sure that we'll do our best to release her as soon as possible," Parubii said.
