Head of Needs Assessment Mission of European Parliament Pat Cox meets with participants in modeling of work of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine “League of Young Parliamentarians”

On April 14, Pat Cox, Head of European Parliament’s Needs Assessment Mission to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, President of the European Parliament 2002-2004 met with participants of the project for modeling the functioning of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine named "League of Young Parliamentarians."

Addressing the youth, Pat Cox recalled the famous phrase of John F. Kennedy, "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country."

At the meeting the participants discussed transformational challenges that the Ukrainian society is facing today, the place of the younger generation in the introduction of changes, the work of the Ukrainian Parliament, further areas of cooperation of Ukraine and the European Union. P.Cox also answered questions of the meeting participants.
