Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andrii Parubii said this in his opening speech at the plenary meeting on Friday, April 15.
He noted that "yesterday was a very difficult, however, a very important day as we managed to take all crucial decisions touching the reload of the Cabinet of Ministers." He called symbolical the fact "that all newly appointed members of the Ukrainian Government managed to be here in the session hall today to take part in "an hour of questions to the Government of Ukraine" and are ready to answer the questions of the people's deputies." Parubii noted the importance of such a discussion "as earlier there was little time to hear all the ministers and their vision of the developments in one or another sector."
"The communication between the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine must become a guarantee of our cooperation, effective elaboration of draft laws and decision-making. I do count on the deepest possible cooperation and on its effectiveness," Parubii said.
