In particular, the Chairperson of the Committee on Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship Viktor Halasiuk participated in the opening of a new plant. In Kirovohrad, launched was a new foundry of PrJSC Metalit, which will form part of the Chervona Zirka works’ holding company. As reported, the total investments in this enterprise amounted to USD 120 million, and today the enterprise has already employed nearly 190 persons.

V.Halasiuk also visited Mariupol and Zaporizhstal metallurgical plant.

The Committee on Economic Policy held a round table on the topic "New wording of the Law of Ukraine "On limited and additional liability companies."

Members of the Committee on State Building, Regional Policy and Local Self-Government participated in the IV Forum of Local Self-Government in Lviv. Serhii Vlasenko, Vitalii Kurylo, Serhii Kudlayenko, Olena Boiko, Yurii Bublyk, Mykola Fedoruk, Oleksandr Dekhtiarchuk, Aliona Shkrum, Andrii Reka, Oleh Bereziuk, Vasyl Huliayev, and Liubomyr Zubach participated in the IV Forum of Local Self-Government, organized at the initiative of the Lviv City Council.

Members of the Committee on State Building, Regional Policy and Local Self-Government met with members of the Presidium and chairpersons of subcommittees of the Committee for territorial self-governance and regional policy and experts of the Bureau of Research of the Chancellery of the Polish Sejm [Parliament] during their visit to the Republic of Poland.

Head of the Committee Andrzej Maciejewski and Committee Chairperson Serhii Vlasenko pointed to the importance of establishing relations between the bodies of the parliaments of Ukraine and Poland, in charge of the local self-government and administrative-territorial system. The above is important not only from the point of view of deepening the relations between the two friendly and neighboring countries, but also from the point of view of considerable positive experience of Poland in decentralization of power and opportunities for its application during the same reform in Ukraine.

Also members of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on State Building, Regional Policy and Local Self-Government during their visit to Poland visited the National School of Public Administration (Krajowa Szkola Administracji Publicznej - KSAP) and met with its director Jan Pastwa. During the meeting the Ukrainian delegation had the opportunity to familiarize itself with the history of the establishment of KSAP, which has operated since 1991, the place and role of the institution in the system of public administration of the Republic of Poland, etc.

Chairperson of the Committee on Science and Education Lilia Hrynevech was on an educational visit to Germany in the framework of the USAID FAIR Justice Project. The purpose of the educational visit was to study Germany’s experience in the field of legal education in order to bring the content of legal education in Ukraine in line with European requirements.

The delegation members met with Professor of International and European Criminal Law Martin Bose, Dean of the Faculty of Law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms University of Bonn. According to the professor, the essence of the education is to prepare students for solving practical legal cases. Lilia Hrynevych pointed to the importance of discussing with the professor the concept of "single lawyer" and preconditions for admission to the profession, guaranteeing quality education of students-lawyers, autonomy and self-government of law faculties and academic freedom of professors.

In the framework of the field meeting, members of the Committee on Human Rights, National Minorities and Interethnic Relations visited several entry-exit checkpoints, namely Maryinka and Novotroitske, humanitarian logistics center Novotroitske, a number of populated settlements along the delimitation line – the town of Maryinka, where they met with locals and the leadership of the Maryinka military civil administration, places of IDPs’ temporary settlement in Sviatohorsk, Coordination Center under the ATO field headquarters in Kramatorsk, and held an extended meeting of the Committee in Kramatorsk.

In addition to the Committee members – Committee Chairperson Hryhorii Nemyria, Deputy Chairperson Valerii Patskan, Committee members Vasyl Brenzovych, Iryna Suslova and Refat Chubarov, the extended meeting was attended by people’s deputies representing other Parliamentary Committees - member of the Committee on Social Policy, Employment and Pension Provision Natalia Veselova and member of the Batkivschyna faction Oleksii Riabchyn, leadership of central executive power bodies of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, representatives of international humanitarian missions and NGOs of internally displaced persons.

The Committee on Legal Policy and Justice held a training workshop for the employees of the Verkhovna Rada Secretariat entitled "Experience of the European Court of Human Rights."

The Verkhovna Rada Committee on European Integration held a training workshop entitled "Adaptation of legislation to the EU acquis"

The Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security and Defense hosted a working meeting dedicated to the legislative regulation of confiscating certain assets prior to court verdict, and a meeting of the working group on the legislative regulation of creation and production of weapons, military and special equipment. The meeting of the group was attended by Deputy Chairperson of the Committee Yulii Mamchur and committee member Dmytro Tymchuk, representatives of the Security Service of Ukraine, the Foreign Intelligence Service, the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Interior, and the State Concern Ukroboronprom.

Also there was a meeting of the round table on the reform of the national gas production industry, organized on April 1, 2016 by the Committee on Fuel and Energy Complex, Nuclear Policy and Nuclear Safety with the support of the British Embassy in Ukraine.
