Verkhovna Rada Committee on Legal Policy and Justice starts seminar-training for employees of Verkhovna Rada Secretariat entitled "Practice of European Court of Human Rights"

The event participants are the specialists from the Secretariat of the Government's Envoy for Affairs of the European Court of Human Rights and the High Justice Council.

The seminar is conducted within the framework of the joint European Union / Council of Europe project entitled "Consolidation of elaboration of reforms in field of justice in Ukraine" and the joint European Union / Council of Europe project entitled "Intensification of implementation of European standards of human rights in Ukraine."

During two days, the participants in the event will consider the issues of such provisions of the European Convention on Human Rights as the right to freedom and personal immunity (Article 5), the right to fair trial (Article 6) and practices of the European Court of Human Rights on these Articles of the Convention.
