The draft law No. 2135 is aimed at the creation of conditions for the development of competitive environment in the market of containers designed for the sale of fermentation ethanol used as a medical product.
The draft law offers to rule that fermentation ethanol used as a medical product and spirit of aqueous-alcoholic infusions are sold separately only at drug stores in flasks of medical purposes (the effective term has the following wording "in flasks made of medical glass") with the volume not exceeding 100 cubic centimeters (except for such medical products as balsams).
The provisions of the draft law do not rule out an opportunity of the producers to use flasks made of medical glass to fill them with spirit used as a medical product.
It is also offered to amend Section 2, Article 14 of the Law of Ukraine "On state regulation of production and circulation of fermentation ethanol, cognac and fruit spirits, alcoholic drinks and tobacco goods."
The Committee members supported the draft law and noted that its adoption would facilitate fair competition and allow the producers of medical products to raise the volumes and raise the quality of the end product.
