Issue of development of travel industry as instrument of economic development and investment attractiveness of Ukraine discussed at parliamentary hearings at Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine

Opening the hearings, Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oksana Syroyid noted that revenues from tourism in many countries make up to 10% of the gross domestic product, and every 15th job is created in the sector of tourism. At the same time, Syroyid said that no tourism development can be discussed in Ukraine today as there is no infrastructure, roads, communications, etc. Besides, the Deputy Chairperson of the Ukrainian Parliament said it would be complicated to imagine any development of tourism in Ukraine less protection of investments.

Syroyid highlighted the schedule of speeches and then let hearings participants to take floor.
