At the meeting held on March 30 the chairman of the Committee Serhii Rybalka stated that the second reading of draft law No. 2455 received 375 proposals of people’s deputies. Among them 184 have been fully accepted; 35 – accepted partially, 12 – accepted editorially; 21 – accepted substantially (total 252); and 103 – rejected. 20 proposals on which no final agreement has been reached by the working group were discussed at the meeting. Based on the discussion results, members of the Committee made an appropriate decision on the adoption of the law after processing with the Main Legal Department of the Parliament and the right of the Secretariat to make technical and legal amendments.
At the meeting, the People's Deputies considered a few other draft laws as well.
Based on the review results, the Committee recommends to take as a basis draft law “On Amendments to Some Laws of Ukraine on Providing Money Transfer Services” No. 3669.
Members of the Committee also considered and decided to recommend the Parliament to take as a basis draft law “On Amendments to Some Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Ensuring Fair Financial Services” No. 3856.
