Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman hopes that new Coalition and Government will be established basing on a clear Action Plan and political negotiations on their establishment will be deprived of any populism.

The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada has said this in his interview for the Rada TV Channel on Friday.

Groysman noted that the negotiations on the establishment of new Coalition were underway. "The most important in this process is the fact that there is a very clear Action Plan for the reload of the Coalition and the Government. That plan is likely to prove to the people that the establishment of new Coalition and Government has nothing to do with the division of seats, but is a real Action Plan with clear and precise results expected. This can be a criterion of new unification," Groysman said.

The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada also noted that populism is unacceptable for new Government. "Because over tens of years populism has led Ukraine to the ruining state the country is in now. Because everyone always only promises everything, especially on the television," Groysman said.

Besides, the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada advocated holding of real effective fight against corruption "both against corrupt officials, and reasons for the corruption itself." In particular, he said that corruption must be fought at the customs, at social funds and at state-owned enterprises. That will free tens of billions of extra revenues for the state budget of Ukraine, the Chairperson of the Ukrainian Parliament said.

"Having reloaded the Coalition, having reloaded the Government, we have to get rid of all stuff related to the populism, and show the result… not in a year, but in a month or two — the result of the fight against corruption, in economy. Thus, I hope that new Coalition and new Government can be based on these principles," Groysman said.
