Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman considers it necessary to elaborate and implement rapid and effective solutions to the current political crisis in the country.

Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said this after the Conciliatory Council of the heads of the parliamentary factions and chairpersons of parliamentary committees  on Monday, March 28.

"Everyone has to understand that the accumulation of problems in every field of life of the country deepens the crisis," he said.

He also said the authorities have to pay their particular attention to the sectors of agriculture and coal industry, the fields of health care, education, IT, formation of clear model of national economy, consolidation of state management, employment of the population, and the fight against corruption.

In particular, he noted the necessity for the decrease of the percent of cases of disability and deaths as a result of cardiovascular diseases, as well as for the regulation of prices for medicines.

Commenting the issue of the population's employment, Groysman called for more effective stimulation of jobs creation.

Besides, according to Groysman, the state budget replenishment has to be boosted through the elimination of corrupt schemes, in particular, in the sector of customs and through the reformation of social funds. "These are tens of billions of hryvnias that can be channeled for the redemption of the Pension Fund's deficit and other needs," Groysman said.

The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada also mentioned the necessity for modernization of Ukrainian infrastructure, in particular: construction of roads, kindergartens, schools, hospitals. He noted the importance of elaboration of energy efficiency-based policy.

The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada said the Ukrainian society demands that the politicians provide rapid and effective solutions. "If real, non-populist Coalition is formed, if new Prime Minister is allowed to form effective reform-oriented core in the Government, these issues will be tackled very rapidly. I am sure we will manage to stabilize the situation by the year-end, and probably to launch the economic growth," the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada said.
