At its morning plenary meeting on Tuesday, March 29, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will consider the dismissal of Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Shokin.

Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said this opening the Conciliatory Council of the heads of the parliamentary factions and chairpersons of parliamentary committees  on Monday, March 28.

"This week, we have the following tasks to do: first of all tomorrow we will have to eye the dismissal of the prosecutor general of Ukraine. Thus, all the factions, groups have to understand that the consideration of that issue will take place during the tomorrow's morning meeting," he said.

Besides, on Tuesday, the Verkhovna Rada plans to consider a number of issues touching national security and defense, Groysman added.

On Thursday, the Ukrainian Parliament will consider financial and economic draft laws, in particular, the ones touching the problems of Ukrainian miners and the issues of agriculture, the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada said. "We have lots to do in the coal-mining sector," Groysman said.

The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada noted that this week, the people's deputies will get back to the issues not considered at the previous plenary meeting.

"I'd like you to get ready to take decisions our country requires today," Groysman said.
