The draft law No.2216a offers to withdraw technology parks from the list of functional types of special (free) economic zones; to simplify the procedure of registration of technology parks; to determine the grounds for setting the term and the procedure of the introduction of a special regime of innovative activity of technology parks during the implementation of projects of technological parks; to change the mechanism of state registration of projects of technology parks and grounds for canceling the state registration of projects of technology parks; to strengthen control over and responsibility for the implementation of projects of technology parks, as well as over the use of funds of the special account allocated for the implementation of projects of technology parks.
Corresponding amendments are proposed to the Economic Code of Ukraine, Laws of Ukraine "On general principles of creation and functioning of special (free) economic zones," "On innovation activity," "On special regime of innovation activity of technology parks."
