V.Halasiuk said this at a morning briefing on February 3.
The people’s deputy is confident that today Ukraine vitally needs creation of an export credit agency to promote Ukrainian products, first of all manufactured by small and medium-sized businesses, in foreign markets.
"To successfully develop our exports, level the balance of trade and have a stable hryvnia – we need to manufacture goods in Ukraine and sell them abroad. And exactly credit export agencies all over the world perform this very function – promote high-tech exports, exports of goods with value-added abroad. And such a government policy of targeted support for exports will allow the country to eventually give up assistance of the IMF, be financially independent, and have no huge fluctuations of the hryvnia," the Chairperson of the Committee said.
V.Halasiuk assured that the faction of the Radical Party, and the Committee on Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship will try to secure adoption of the relevant draft law aimed at large-scale promotion of Ukrainian producers in foreign markets through the establishment of a credit export agency (draft law of Ukraine "On amendments to some laws of Ukraine (concerning insurance of export risks and credits of exporters)" No.2142a).
