Verkhovna Rada Committee on Environmental Policy, Nature Resources Utilization and Elimination of the Consequences of Chornobyl Catastrophe recommends Ukrainian Parliament adopt as a basis draft law "On amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine" (as to water fund lands)

The draft law No. 3430 elaborated in order to regulate the problems and simplification of the procedure of delimitation of coastal reinforcement lines of water bodies, as well as the specification and mutual agreement of respective terms of the Land and Water Codes of Ukraine.

According to the Committee members, the adoption of the draft law will allow facilitation of the process of setting coastal protection lines, which will not require division of additional land projects, facilitate removal of barriers for implementation of activity allowed within the lands of the water fund, and improve state of the environment.
