Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopts Law "On amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine" (as to harmonization of legislation in field of preventing and combating discrimination with European Union law)

The Law was elaborated to improve the Ukrainian legislation in the field of preventing and combating discrimination, ensuring efficiency of control over observance of the law and bringing it into line with the legislative acts of the European Union, whose implementation is envisioned by the ANNEX XL to Chapter 21 "Cooperation on Employment, Social Policy and Equal Opportunities" of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union, European Atomic Energy Community and their member countries.

Respective draft law was registered under No. 3501.
