On Monday, the leadership of Ukraine commemorated soldiers, who took part in military conflicts on the territory of other states.
President Petro Poroshenko, Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman, Head of the General Staff / Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Muzhenko, heads of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, people's deputies of Ukraine, representatives of the Presidential Administration and the public laid flowers to the Memorial to Ukrainian Citizens Killed in Afghanistan.
At the meeting of the Conciliatory Council on Monday, Groysman suggested that the participants in the meeting keep minute's silence in memory of the killed soldiers.
"Today, February 15, Ukraine commemorates participants in the combat activities [on the territory of other states]. I'd like to ask you all to keep minute's silence in memory of all those, who did not come back alive. May the memory of them live forever and Glory to the Heroes!" Groysman said.
