Ukrainian delegation headed by Chairperson of group on interparliamentary relations with Qatar in Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andrii Artemenko is on official visit to Doha (Qatar)

During the visit on February 11-12, with the assistance of the Embassy of Ukraine in Qatar members of the Ukrainian delegation held talks with Mohammed Abdullah Al-Rumaihi, the Minister of Municipality and Environment (also responsible for agricultural industry), who had served as Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister of Qatar for international cooperation till late January this year.

The meeting was also attended by Ambassador Yevhen Mykytenko and diplomats of the Embassy of Ukraine in Qatar.

The working visit was held in the context of developing the agreements reached, in particular by Ukrainian enterprises in November 2015 following their participation in the international agricultural exhibition Agriteq in Doha.

For further intensification of the interparliamentary, governmental and business contacts between Ukraine and Qatar, members of the Ukrainian delegation held several working meetings.
