The Parties discussed the situation in Ukraine, first of all in the east of our state, and issues of bilateral cooperation in settlement of humanitarian problems related to consequences of the Russian aggression against Ukraine.

Hryhorii Nemyria thanked the Head of the delegation for the Red Cross work in Ukraine: humanitarian aid to our citizens, assistance in release of prisoners of war and in search of the people missing in the east of our state.

Mr. Eschliman once again assured of his organization's readiness to provide assistance to those, who suffer the conflict.

The Parties also discussed the preparation for the parliamentary hearings entitled "Status of protection of rights of internally displaced persons and Ukrainian citizens living on temporarily occupied territories" and scheduled for February 17.
