Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopts as a basis draft law "On amendments to Law of Ukraine "On status and social protection of citizens/victims of Chornobyl NPP disaster" (as to social protection)

The draft law No. 2093 offers to partially reenact the Items and Articles of the Law of Ukraine "On status and social protection of citizens/victims of Chornobyl NPP disaster" amended by the Law of Ukraine No. 76-VIII dated December 28, 2014.

In particular, it is offered to partially reenact: the wording of Article 2 of the Law of Ukraine "On status and social protection of citizens/victims of Chornobyl NPP disaster," which determined the categories of zones of radioactively polluted territories; some terms of the Law of Ukraine "On status and social protection of citizens/victims of Chornobyl NPP disaster," which were excluded by the Law of Ukraine "On amendments to and invalidation of some legislative acts of Ukraine" dated December 28, 2014; etc.
