The Committee meeting that took place on February 3, 2016 was dedicated to a number of important issues envisioned in the plans for lawmaking work for the period of the fourth session of the Ukrainian Parliament.
The Committee has recommended that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopt the draft law No. 3504 "On amendments to Law of Ukraine "On television and radio broadcasting" (as to conditions of broadcasting of shows of TV and radio companies within the universal program service) in first reading and as a basis.
The Committee also recommended that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopt the draft law No. 3716 "On amendments to Verkhovna Rada Resolution No. 1549-VII dated July 1, 2014 "On approval to Provision on accreditation of journalists and technical employees of mass media organizations under Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine."
The Committee members also discussed and approved the schedule of meetings of the Committee for the period of the fourth session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of VIII convocation (February-July 2016).
