Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopts Law "On amendments to some Laws of Ukraine" (as to introduction of contractual form of work in culture, and tender-based appointment of heads of state-run or municipal cultural establishment)

In particular, the Law rules that heads of state-run and municipal cultural establishments are appointed through signature of respective contract for the period of five years as a result of respective tender.

The labor relations between professional cultural employees of state-run and municipal cultural establishments are employed through signature of respective contracts.

Heads of state-run and municipal cultural establishments can attract extra artists on the basis of a civil law contract in order envisioned by the law.

Respective draft law was registered under No. 2669-д.
