An extended meeting of the working group on preparation for the parliamentary hearings to be held on February 3, 2016 on the topic "Reform of the sphere of information and communication technologies and development of Ukraine's information space" took place on January 14 under the Chairpersonship of the Committee Chairperson O.I. Danchenko.
At the meeting they particularly discussed the draft of recommendations, the program of the event, proposals to the composition of speakers, etc.
The meeting of the working group ended in the following decisions:
- pursuant to Items 9, 11 of the action plan on preparation and holding of parliamentary hearings, to by January 22 finalize examining proposals to the draft of recommendations of the parliamentary hearings from the central bodies of executive power, higher education institutions (preparing professionals for the IT sector), business (Internet service providers, system integrators, distributors and producers of software and telecommunications equipment), business associations, and public sector, and elaborate the draft of these recommendations;
- to continue work on preparation for the hearing participants of a package of information and analytical materials on the state of reforms in the sector of ICT and prospects of Ukraine's information space development;
- to continue work on implementation of other organizational measures for holding the above parliamentary hearings.
