The Law was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on May 12, 2015.
The Law sets the total number of employees of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine at 7,595 people, including 6,095 servicemen.
In his proposals, the head of the state noted that the total number of staff of the Service set by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in 2011 is 7,227 people.
The adopted Law raised the total number of employees of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine.
The Law includes the proposal of the President of Ukraine that touches the setting of the total number of employees of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine basing on financial capacity of the state and taking in consideration existing priorities of national security.
