From January 17 to 29, representatives of the coalition are on the visit to Oslo. The Information Office learned this from people’s deputy of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc party faction, Deputy Chairperson of the Committee on Legal Policy and Justice Serhii Alekseyev, a member of the official delegation along with MPs Viktoria Siumar, Oksana Syroyid, Ostap Semerak, Pavlo Pynzenyk, Hryhorii Nemyria, Oleh Bereziuk and Ivan Kyrylenko.
S. Alekseyev stressed that "when building parliamentary system and coalition relations in Ukraine one should be carried out by the best world practices."
"Scandinavia is one of the parts of the world where the balance of power, social progress and economic prosperity are approaching to ideal. So the visit to Norway is a great opportunity to learn from experience which later at home we can use in practice. As the history of the parliamentary system here dates back as far as the early 19th century," he said.
According to S. Alekseyev, during their visit to Norway the representatives of the coalition will meet with former and current top-rank officials. In particular, with ex-Prime Minister Kjell Magne Bondevik, ex-Energy and Petroleum Minister Einar Steensn?s, State Secretary of the Prime Minister's Office Ingvild N?ss Stub, the President of the Parliament Olemic Thommessen, the leadership of Norway’s Parliament and members of the Bondevik’s government. Separately, they plan to meet with the leadership of the Conservative, Labour and Christian Democratic Parties.
"At the same time, we will have an opportunity not only to adopt the best practices, but also to deliver objective information on the situation in Ukraine and Ukraine-Russia relations, and gain this point. We must use every opportunity to by diplomatic means, involving all possible parliamentary mechanisms achieve peace in our territory," he said.
According to S. Alekseyev, for this purpose the representatives of the Ukrainian delegation will meet with Norwegian experts, not indifferent to Ukraine and Ukraine-Russia relations.
