The draft law No. 2429a-1 proposes to amend Item 15 of the Final and Transitional Provisions of the Law of Ukraine "On ensuring the right to a fair trial," and present it in the following wording: "To prolong for eight months the validity of results of qualifying tests of the candidates for judges and the term of stay in reserve of persons staying in reserve for filling vacant positions as at 11 April 2014."
As they stress in the Committee, from the content of the draft law is unclear from which date counted should be eight months, for which it is proposed to extend the validity of the results of the qualifying tests for the candidates for judges (from the expiration of the three-year term from the date of passing the qualification test by a specific candidate or the entry into force of this draft law).
