Verkhovna Rada Committee on Family Matters, Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism recommends Ukrainian Parliament return to subject of legislative initiative for finalization draft law on amendments to Article 48 of Law of Ukraine "On Physical Culture and Sports"

The draft law No. 3561 proposes to divide the function of control over the effectiveness of the use of sports facilities.

The Committee members and representatives of physical culture and sports community said that the draft law needs finalization in the part of exercising control by the owners over the state of sports facilities in private ownership, because there should be a mechanism of State's control to ensure safety, including of athletes, coaches and visitors during their stay at sports facilities.
