Verkhovna Rada Committee on Fuel and Energy Complex, Nuclear Policy and Nuclear Safety recommends Ukrainian Parliament adopt as a basis draft law "On amendments to Law of Ukraine "On gas market" (as to reserve stock of natural gas)

The draft law No. 3617 offers to introduce new wording of Section 6 of Article 12 of the Law of Ukraine "On gas market" obliging the suppliers to create the reserve stock of the natural gas worth 10% of the planned monthly volumes of supplies to consumers for a following month.

During the discussion of the draft law, the Committee members noted that the adoption of the draft law will facilitate the functioning of the natural gas market in compliance with the Law of Ukraine "On gas market."
