Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopts Law "On amendments to Budget Code of Ukraine" (as to intended use of environment tax)

The Law channels the proceeds from the environment tax for the special fund of the State Budget of Ukraine and local budgets instead of sending these funds to the general fund of budgets of respective level as is envisioned by the effective requirements of the Budget Code of Ukraine. These funds are channeled for environmental protection measures only.

Respective draft law was registered under No. 2830.
