The draft law No. 2786 was elaborated to amend the Law of Ukraine to toughen purposeful violations in the field of production and circulation of fermentation ethanol, brandy and fruit spirits, alcoholic drinks and tobacco goods.
The draft law amends Section 2 of Article 17 "Responsibility for violation of terms of this Law of Ukraine," which already regulated the administrative procedure of application of financial sanctions in the form of fines as to economic entities.
The Committee members noted that all offered terms gave wide opportunities for corruption by fiscal and other state licensing bodies.
