"We are lacking popularization of inspired and creative personalities in the system of education," Liliya Hrynevych said at that all-Ukrainian event.
The whole event was conducted during six months under the auspices of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Ukraine, Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of the Kyiv city state administration. The event was aimed at awarding of education workers for their achievements at the national level.
The Chairperson of the Committee noted that such ceremony is a remarkable event in the life of teachers and educators. Besides, Liliya Hrynevych noted that Ukraine is in considerable debt to the education workers.
According to Liliya Hrynevych, despite the Russian aggression and economic troubles in Ukraine, the education reform still has to be triggered. The education workers do know what changes this sector requires the most. "No matter what we enshrine in the laws, what reforms we hold, what books we publish, the final authority is still in hands of our teachers, our educator, heads of educational establishments — all those, who work in the name of an educational establishment. They are the ones to engrain educational likes and dislikes in our children. Thus, this event is an incredible mission," the Chairperson of the Committee said.
