Committee on State Building, Regional Policy and Local Self-Government sets up working group to elaborate concept of reforming and developing awards system of Ukraine

At a meeting of the Committee, they listened to information of the Committee Chairperson Serhii Vlasenko on the results of Committee hearings on improvement of legal regulation of the awards system of Ukraine and proposed to form a working group of the Committee with a purpose of forming conceptual approaches in reforming and developing the award system of Ukraine, determining ways, mechanisms and methods of solving the problems of perfecting the system of state awards.

Vlasenko was appointed the head of the working group. It is proposed to involve (subject to consent) in the activity of the working group MPs, representatives of the Parliament's Secretariat, the Presidential Administration, the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers, and central bodies of executive authorities, leading associations of local self-government, NGOs, scientists, and experts.
