Photo exhibition "Year of Verkhovna Rada of VIII convocation" opens in Parliament

A photo exhibition "The Year of the Verkhovna Rada of the Eighth Convocation" has opened today in the Parliament (5 Hrushevskoho Street, third floor lobby).
The exhibition was initiated and organized by the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine.
The exhibition represents the works of 13 professional photographers of leading Ukrainian mass media and independent photographers.
The opening of the exhibition was attended by the acting head of the Verkhovna Rada's Secretariat Volodymyr Slyshynskyi.
The photos are divided into the following topics: "Festivities in the Rada," "Women of the Parliament," "Deputies' Work," "Inappropriate Behavior in the Parliament," "Rallies near the walls of the Rada," "Work of Parliamentary Journalists and Photoreporters."
The exhibition lasts through January 15, 2016.
During non-plenary weeks the exhibition is open to the public in the framework of guided tours to the Verkhovna Rada.
