The law abolishes or reigns in certain permissive procedures and requirements in carrying out business activity by agricultural enterprises, and limits the powers of separate government bodies as regards functions of state control.
In particular, they revised some mandatory procedures and permits in the agricultural complex (in veterinary medicine, pesticides and agrochemicals, livestock farming, foodstuffs, fisheries, and environmental management).
Corresponding amendments were made to the laws of Ukraine "On plant quarantine," "On the List of permits in the sphere of business activity," "On veterinary medicine," "On livestock breeding," "On baby food," "On fish, other water living resources and food products made of them," "On fisheries, commercial catch and protection of water biological resources," "On licensing of economic activity," "On pesticides and agrochemicals," "On general principles and requirements to safety and quality of foodstuffs," the Code of Ukraine on Mineral Resources, and the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offences.
Respective draft law was registered under No. 2558а.
