Verkhovna Rada adopts as a basis draft law "On amendments to law of Ukraine "On animal by-products not intended for human consumption" (as to bringing its provisions on handling of products of animal origin, belonging to Category 2, in line with requirements of EU legislation)"

The draft law proposes to make amendments to the current Law, according to which Article 1 is supplemented with definition of the content of the term "organic fertilizers and soil improvers;" the list of animal by-products belonging to Category 2 is supplemented by the following products: "non-mineralized guano and digestive tract content" (amendments to Article 12 of the Law); to define ways of using, processing and recycling animal by-products, belonging to Category 2, etc.

Respective draft law was registered under No. 2150a.
